MaxPresso is a powdered protein coffee that combines whey protein concentrate (88%) with instant coffee (7.3%). This version has a coffee taste with caramel notes, and 100 g of powder holds 70.3 g of protein. A 30 g serving made with 250 ml of water has 21.1 g of protein, 110 kcal and 80 mg of caffeine. Made with low-fat milk, the protein goes up to 29.5 g. Acesulfame K and sodium saccharin sweeten it. Shake it cold with water, milk or a plant drink for an iced coffee, or dissolve it in hot water. Maxi Nutrition says it is gluten-free and contains no artificial colours or flavourings. The 300 g can holds 10 servings.
For a cold drink, pour 250 ml of cold water, low-fat milk or a milk alternative into a shaker first, then add 30 g of powder (about 3 tablespoons) and shake well for 20-30 seconds. For a hot drink, stir 30 g into 250 ml of hot water (max. 60 °C).
This product does not replace a balanced, varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. High caffeine content (32 mg per 100 ml). Not recommended for children or for pregnant or breastfeeding women. Do not heat above 60 °C.
