In this NOW Foods supplement the iron comes as ferrous bisglycinate, an amino acid chelate made under Albion's Ferrochel trademark. Each vegetarian capsule holds 90 mg of ferrous bisglycinate, which provides 18 mg of elemental iron. The capsule shell is cellulose, with rice flour in the filling. The bottle holds 120 capsules. The product is vegetarian and vegan, kosher, halal and non-GMO.
