Propolis is the resinous material that honey bees gather from tree buds and other plant sources and use in the hive. NOW Foods says its propolis is collected from active, healthy hives. Each capsule holds 300 mg of a 5:1 powdered extract, which the label states is equivalent to 1500 mg of bee propolis. The capsule shell is cellulose (hypromellose). The product is non-GMO, kosher and halal, and the bottle holds 100 capsules.
