MaxHydrate Classic is a Maxi Nutrition powder for making a carbohydrate-electrolyte drink, here in berry flavour. The box holds 10 sticks of 16 g each. Each serving has 53 kcal and 11 g of carbohydrate from dextrose and sugar. It also gives you 500 mg of sodium, 459 mg of chloride, 370 mg of potassium and 60 mg of magnesium, while vitamin C, niacin, pantothenic acid and vitamin B12 each cover 100% of the reference intake. Natural flavourings provide the taste, and steviol glycosides add sweetness. Maxi Nutrition offers the drink for training, long runs, rides and hikes, and hot days. The brand says it is gluten-free, lactose-free and fat-free. The product is on the Koelner Liste (Cologne List) and its batches are tested.
Open one stick (16 g), add the contents to 500 ml of cold still water and shake hard for 4-5 seconds or stir well. Drink before, during or after training.
